Andrew Brandou, a former illustrator for The Simpsons, Spongebob, Rugrats, and Duckman, has a brand new showin NYC. Pics of his hauntingly beautiful work are already up. Both disturbing and hauntingly beautiful, the pieces combine elements of Japanese kemono and hakue, Golden Books characters, and Andrew's own unique take on death.
