In Rainbows Fan Art

Here's a few fan made cover for Radiohead's new album...... enjoy!!!

Dumberdore the Poof

As you all know by now, Dumbledore was outed by author JK Rowling. It makes sense... Dumbledore is all about unconditional love which is a very gay trait.... a poof has to get his head around society's conventions and learn to love the forbidden. The reaction has been absolutely huge.... from those who don't want to know 'cause it wasn't in the books, to those who think she is shoving the gay persona onto Dumbledore 'cause every modern story has to have a fag somewhere in the mix.... her actual quote was, "I've always thought of Dumbledore as gay," so if it bothers you so much, you could just think that she has a faulty gaydar....

On a lighter note, here's some Dumbledore Pride tees -- "Wizards are Gay" and "I Always Knew." Link

Andy Warhol Scent

Bond No.9, famous for capturing the scents of New York City, are teaming up with the Andy Warhol Foundation to create a collection of scents that capture Warhol's vision of New York.

The first of which is Silver Factory - named after Warhol's studio (also known as simply, The Factory) from 1964 to 1968. The package design takes influence from Warhol's Campbell's Soup screenprints as well as the silver-lined walls of The Factory itself.

“We were attracted to Bond No 9’s creative approach to luxury perfumery which celebrates New York City,” said Michael Hermann, director of licensing at The Andy Warhol Foundation. “Working with Bond No. 9 represents a unique, unexpected, and exciting opportunity to introduce Warhol to an ever-widening audience.”

The fragrance contains notes of Incense, Wood Resin, Amber, Jasmine, Iris, Violet and Cedarwood.
This is not the first Andy Warhol fragrance. Previous Warhol scents were created by Cofinluxe (known also for their Dali and Morgan fragrances) in the late nineties.

Andy Warhol Silver Factory will be available from December in Bond No.9 New York stores and Saks priced at $230 for 100ml.
For $230 it had better be brilliant!!!

Kylie's 2 Hearts

Kylie's new single is out.... and I love it!!! Very glam, especially the film clip.... I can see why some people hate it, but I think it's a grower. Nice to see her try something different after the electro-pop of her last 3 albums.

In Rainbows

Radiohead, the internationally renowned band, has taken the unusual step of telling fans that they can pay as much or as little as they like for the band's new album, In Rainbows.
It
In a break from industry tradition the UK band, famous for hits including Creep, Paranoid Android and Karma Police, has told fans "it's up to you" what they pay to digitally download the album.

This isn't the first time that an artist has opted to charge nothing for an album, but the move is significant because Radiohead remains one of the biggest bands in the world.
Radiohead is free to sell its album directly from its official website because it is no longer tied to a record label. Guitarist Jonny Greenwood tells fans on the website that the album is only available to pre-order from the website, where it can be downloaded on release on October 10.

The album is also available separately as part of a £40 box-set which includes the album on CD, two vinyl records, a CD with additional songs, photos, artwork and lyrics.

This is the first album I've actually been excited about in ages.... let's just hope they have decent servers come Oct 10....
