Andy Warhol Scent

Bond No.9, famous for capturing the scents of New York City, are teaming up with the Andy Warhol Foundation to create a collection of scents that capture Warhol's vision of New York.

The first of which is Silver Factory - named after Warhol's studio (also known as simply, The Factory) from 1964 to 1968. The package design takes influence from Warhol's Campbell's Soup screenprints as well as the silver-lined walls of The Factory itself.

“We were attracted to Bond No 9’s creative approach to luxury perfumery which celebrates New York City,” said Michael Hermann, director of licensing at The Andy Warhol Foundation. “Working with Bond No. 9 represents a unique, unexpected, and exciting opportunity to introduce Warhol to an ever-widening audience.”

The fragrance contains notes of Incense, Wood Resin, Amber, Jasmine, Iris, Violet and Cedarwood.
This is not the first Andy Warhol fragrance. Previous Warhol scents were created by Cofinluxe (known also for their Dali and Morgan fragrances) in the late nineties.

Andy Warhol Silver Factory will be available from December in Bond No.9 New York stores and Saks priced at $230 for 100ml.
For $230 it had better be brilliant!!!
